The Children of Syria

As the tragic war enters its third year with no immediate end in sight, over 6 million children continue to be affected. Many of these children have witnessed the brutal death their parents, while many others have been torn away from their families. Most Syrian orphans find themselves fighting for survival alone in Syria or unprotected in the refugee camps.
Within Syria, an estimated 3.1 million children are at risk from unrelenting violence, crumbling infrastructure, ruined schools and hospitals, as well as shortages of food and essential supplies.
